One of the objectives of education is to inculcate in children, the appreciation of beauty and to help them develop a sense of aesthetics. A lot of emphasis is placed on the Fine as well as the Performing Arts. In junior school, compulsory exposure is given to art, craft, music, dance and dramatics etc.
Classrooms are spacious and specially designed with a child-centric attitude, where children have a reading corner, learning corner, and an experimenting corner to develop their curiosity. These are also well equipped to make them imaginative and resourceful.
Classrooms are distinctively designed for children of different age groups, keeping in mind their activities, priorities, treks and distress, to make learning an enjoyable experience.
Special Labs known as Academic rooms are designed for the children to experience the real joy of the subjects as well as to develop a keen interest in them.

A Library is a curated collection of source of information and similar resources, selected by experts and made accessible to a defined communing for reference. Where DIS is having a well equiped Library with computer and net facilities and having a wonderful collection of 10000 different-different Kinds books which are increasing the knowledge of students as well as teachers and learners.

Merit in games and sports are expected to build the student's character, confidence, team spirit and robustness. Sporting facitrties have been planned with exacting attention to details. These include horse riding, swimming, gymnastics and athletics. The campus provides outdoor space for a 400 meter athletic track, tennis and basketball courts and an Olympic-size playing field for Football, Cricket, Martial Arts and Basketball. The vast expanse of land encourages cross country running and other gymnastic activities. The indoor games complex includes the latest Gym. Equipment, tennis etc.
